Our partners Fergus Melligan Roadstone Ltd. and Kenneth Joyce Coillte were in London last week attending the Global Biochar Commercialisation Summit
The event brought together participants from across the globe, including biomass suppliers, biochar project developers, investors, banks, carbon capture accreditation bodies and end users. It was particularly encouraging to see strong interest from industries exploring the use of biochar, including concrete, steel, asphalt, agriculture, horticulture and plastics.
The summit provided an excellent opportunity to gain an up-to-date view of the rapidly evolving biochar market. Insights from the conference will be fed into our Just Transition Fund EU Biochar project as we continue to progress our work in this area.
